The Kennesaw Downtown Development Authority and the Kennesaw Optimist Club are teaming up to host the Faith Cline Elf Trot 5K Race on Saturday, December 4 at 5 pm in downtown Kennesaw.

The race honors Faith Cline, a 17 year old high school senior diagnosed with an inoperable brain stem tumor. Faith's high school diploma was on her "wish list", so she completed her graduation requirements early and was recognized in a graduation ceremony at Kennesaw Mountain High School in August just weeks before her death. Her story is an inspiration to all who knew her or knew about her.

Proceeds from the event which includes a 5K run and a 1 mile funrun/walk will be donated to the Brain Tumor Foundation for Children.
